Summer Says

There really is no story to this one. I guess I can tell you how i came about the flavors I did though. I wanted a floral and fruity, gin lemonade. That’s it, that’s the back story.

All jokes aside, I selected the ingredients that I did for a specific reason. Greenhouse gin is a fantastically light gin with great botanicals but not a lot of juniper. This allows it to play well with the other ingredients.

I wanted a citrus liqueur in there, but due to the Barenjager and berry syrup, I really needed to keep the sweetness in check. For that I used Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao.

Next up is fantastic liqueur that I use frequently. Barenjager Honey liqueur is a great way to add the taste of honey to something without the sweetness of a honey syrup. While it is sweet, it won’t be as sweet as a syrup or even just straight honey would be.

Finally the Berry & Honey Syrup and the Lemon juice to make it into a berry lemonade. Top with soda water or Sprite if you are someone who really likes sweet drinks
