Autumn Walk

The Autumn Walk is easily one of the more interesting cocktails on this page right now. I created it for a Fall menu at a cocktail bar. I wanted something that was different. What came about was a bright, robust, and intensely flavorful cocktail that has a smell that is reminiscent of fallen leaves.

The main spirit that I focused this cocktail around was brandy/cognac. I used Laird’s Applejack, which is an apple brandy, and Belle de Brillet pear cognac. These have subtle, fruity profiles while maintaining the bold and robust profile of brandy/cognac.
