Miami Bonzai

So this drink was created for and named after a friend that I only knew for a summer. The name isn’t that creative. His nickname was Bonzai and he was from Miami.

One night a guest was challenging me to create drinks on the spot and I slapped some ingredients together and ended up with this. He liked it so much that he kept re-ordering it and asked if I could write it down so he could get it again the next time he came in. He asked what I called it and I told him that I had no idea. I had created it on the spot so I didn’t think much about the name. So of course, Bonzai spoke up and asked me to name it after him. The rest, as they say, is history.
