Mad Russian (peppermint Mocha)

The Mad Russian was my attempt at recreating the magic of a Starbucks peppermint mocha.

This drink is essentially a holiday White Russian. So, with that in mind I named it after the ultra famous Trans-Siberian Orchestra song “Mad Russian’s Christmas”.

Mad Russian (Peppermint Mocha)

Ingredients

• 1 oz Vodka

• 1 oz coffee liqueur

• 1/2 oz peppermint Schnapps

• 1/4 oz creme de cacao

• 1/2 oz half and half

• 1 oz peppermint mocha creamer

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin

2. Fill tin with ice

3. Shake aggressively for 10-15 seconds

4. Strain into a rocks glass

5. Garnish with a mini candy cane
