Ozark Iced Tea
So this drink only happened because I wanted an “iced tea” for Northwest Arkansas. It started as a way to diversify my glassware usage, utilizing an unused mason jar glass. Ironically it became one of my best selling drinks and resulted in me needing to buy more mason jars.
Can’t say I’m mad about it. The drink consists of bourbon whiskey (Honey whiskey would work well too), vodka, triple sec, honey syrup, lemon juice, cranberry juice, and sprite. It’s a perfect warm weather drink to enjoy in the sun, out on the patio.
Ozark Iced Tea
1 oz bourbon
1 oz vodka
.5 oz triple sec or other orange liqueur
1 oz lemon juice
.5 oz honey syrup
1 oz sprite
1 oz cranberry juice
Start by filling a mason jar glass with ice. In a shaker tin, combine bourbon, vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and honey syrup. Shake with ice and strain into mason jar. Add sprite and gently stir to combine. Top with cranberry and garnish with a slice of lemon.
