Road to Hell
This drink is bourbon forward with a light syrup of blackberry, raspberry. Rounded out and given spice by the angostura, we top this with ginger ale
Cocktail Ingredients
2 oz bourbon
1 oz light blackberry and raspberry syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
top ginger ale
Syrup Ingredients
1 cup water
.5 cup sugar
.25 cup blackberries
.25 cup raspberries
1 tsp lemon juice
Syrup Instructions
In a small to medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil.
Add berries and return to a boil.
Remove from the heat and add lemon juice. Allow to completely cool
Strain into a container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Cocktail Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except for the ginger ale, in a stirring tin.
Fill halfway with ice. Stir for 30-40 revolutions.
Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. top with ginger ale and garnish with a picked blackberry.
